The rising barrier network is a component which extend the range of elements of the System for underwater surveillance and protection. It improves the capabilities of the System for detection of terrorist divers by neutralizing them or limiting access or significantly delaying enemy divers to protected area. The system can be built as fixed one for protection of harbour constructions, oil terminals and other coastal areas, or mobile one for providing the safety of berthed ships. The barrier network can also be used autonomously.
Principle of operation:
The Raising Barrier Network is placed in a state of readiness at the bottom of the protected bay. With the need to protect area the system sends a signal to the sonar receivers and trigger activators for raising network in operating state.
