ATMF-08 is an advanced non-contact anti-tank mine fuse compatible with anti-tank mines TM-62M family or similar models. It can also be easily adapted to other types of anti-tank mines.
ATMF-08 has built-in explosive formed projectile (EFP) which penetrates/damages the belly armor of the target vehicle and detonates the main charge of the mine. When activated, a clearing charge removes the camouflage layer above the fuse before the EFP detonation. The penetration capability is more than 50 mm of Rolled Homogeneous Armor.
Integrated electro-mechanical safety lock secures the explosive train on deactivation, allowing safe passage in the mine field.
ATMF-08 can be remotely activated and deactivated multiple times by the Radio Command Unit which allows the operator to:
- Check remotely the status of the fuse;
- Activate/deactivate single fuses or groups of fuses;
- Perform a detonation of a single fuse or a group of fuses on command;
- Control up to 50 anti-tank mines in one group.
ATMF-08 uses microcontroller with seismic and magnetic sensors to identify its target and to activate the fuse at the exact moment when the armored vehicle is above the mine.
ATMF-08 has built-in anti-removal and target counter features. Battery pack can be replaced by the operator.
Optionally the fuse can be fitted with a system which prevents activation by electromagnetic signature duplicators.
