Anti-Tank Mine PTM-25

Anti-Tank Mine PTM-25 is designed to destroy light or heavy armored vehicles. The anti-tank mine consists of two stacked ((glued) together warheads, which makes the mine extremely powerful – 32 kg TNT equivalent.

The mine’s fuse FPTM-25 is a non-contact fuse, which works on the whole width of a target vehicle. The fuse has two stage safety mechanism – electronic and mechanical, which guarantees reliability and safety not only during transportation and storage, but in preparation and arming process as well.

The fuse is programmable by the programing device NV-PTM-2P. During programming, the following could be set:

  • Duration of the armed state
  • Target counter (targets to skip before activation)
  • Sensors sensitivity level (according to local soil conditions and depth of laying)
  • Electromagnetic signature duplicator resistance activation.

One programming device is able to program unlimited numbers of fuses.

FPTM-25 fuse is equipped with a high-technology microprocessor system with integrated seismic and magnetic sensors. The fuse is activated, only if the presence of target vehicle above the mine is confirmed from both sensors. The fuse cannot be activated from passing humans or animals.

The fuse has built-in anti-removal system.

The anti-tank mine PTM-25 is resistant to Electromagnetic Signature Duplicators and mine rollers – its working depth is 50 cm beneath the surface of the terrain.
